John is the Owner and Broker In Charge for Charleston Harbor Yacht Sales. John has over 25 years experience in the boating industry and has architected Charleston Harbor Yacht Sales with the best tools and hired the best talent the industry has to offer. Having managed new, pre-owned and brokerage sales in North Carolina, South Carolina, Georgia and Florida, he has the experience to make the buying or selling of your boat/yacht a pleasurable experience. He has had extensive factory training from many manufacturers including Azimut, Sea Ray, Bertram, Cabo, Hatteras, Regal, Grady White, Mainship and Meridian, to name a few. When not working, John spends time with his wife Noriene and daughter Erin.

Mallory Schoolfield
Mallory grew up on the Chesapeake Bay where his father taught him the love of sailing and boating. He graduated from the College of Charleston in 2002 where he earned a Bachelor’s Degree in Economics. While in college, Mallory became a Certified US Sailing Instructor and is currently certified through Coastal Passage Making. After graduation Mallory continued his love for the water and has served as a Sailing Instructor, Charter Captain, Delivery Captain, and Director of Yacht Management, where he has gained extensive Vessel Management experience. Meanwhile Mallory has been able to log over 20,000 sea miles in waters including the British Virgin Islands, the Bahamas, the US Virgin Islands and the rest of the Caribbean and holds a US Coast Guard 50 Ton Masters Captain License. In his spare time, he has raced everything from the smallest Laser Sailer to 40ft and even larger racing yachts in Newport, Annapolis, Key West, and Charleston.

Mark Covington
Captain Mark Covington served in the U.S. Navy from 1965 to 1969 at which time he received his honorable discharge. While in the Navy, Mark travelled to over 22 countries and four oceans aboard a destroyer. He was recalled into U.S. Naval Reserve Program in 1987 where he served as captain travelling the East Coast Intracoastal from Charleston, SC to Key West until 1999 when he was honorably discharged again. Mark has been a Harbor Master in Savannah, GA, has taught a U.S. Coast Guard Marine Safety Course for many years and has his 100 ton U.S. Coast Guard Masters License. He has sold and delivered over 200 boats in his storied career. In his spare time, Mark fishes in tournaments and enjoys training people in boat seamanship, docking, navigation, safety regulations and fishing techniques.

Rob Muller
Rob Muller has been in boating since he was a young boy. He grew up in the Northeast and has seen most of the Eastern Seaboard by boat. His family has owned everything from a 38′ Pembrooke to a 72′ Hatteras. Rob attended Westminster School in Connecticut and then went on to Lafayette College where he graduated with degrees in pre-law, finance and a minor in studio art. Most of his career has been spent in finance most recently managing a bond group for Wachovia. Rob brings a deep understanding of asset finance and valuations to the team and the boating industry at large. He is deeply familiar with yachts of all shapes and sizes. When not selling boats, Rob can be found either on the tennis court, golf course or out on the water on is own 44′ Sunseeker.
